-No, yo no me tiro dijo Kimanta.
-Pero, ¿por qué?
-Porque no sé nadar
-les contesto. Vayan ustedes.
-¡No te dejaremos ahí!
-No, no puedo.
-A ver, lárguenme.

My origami dolphin.
They say that long, yet at the time of the ancestors were strangers on the coast of Tierra del Fuego ago. Go one to know where they came from! They traveled in a big boat; no one had ever seen anything like it.
Soon they proved they were bad people, because they made the Ksamink prisoners, a family of ones. The Ksamink were an older couple, their two sons and a daughter with her husband, called Kimanta. Outsiders put them all on his boat and went by sea.
They spent the day, and that night the foreigners came to an island and that tied the boat to sleep peacefully. But they just fell asleep, the Ksamink looked where they were. Aided by the moonlight, they got off the boat slowly, untied and pushed him to stay away from the shore. Then, the wind carried it away, to lose sight.
-so, What can we do now? They said. On the island there was nothing; it was all of bare rocks.
-Nademos To our land said the father. It can not be helped. And he jumped into the sea, very determined. The wife and children followed. But when they turned, they saw that Kimanta stood on the edge of the rocks.
-Y? asked him,. What are you doing? Throw yourself and begin to swim before returning to fetch foreigners.
No, I did not throw myself Kimanta said.
-but Why?
Because I can not swim
-Les answered. You go.
'Do not leave there!
he shouted from the water
-¡Anímate! they told him the brothers.
Then the brothers climbed to convince.
'We're going to help swim' I said.
'I'll drown answer them.
'But we're going to hold in all! 'I explained the cuñados-. Come on, let's dive anymore. Look at that, without you, we will not.
Um ... well ... ~ he said.
Then, they grabbed one of each arm and the three ran to the water. But at the edge of the rocks, Kimanta stopped short and pulled back.
-No, I can not.
-but Yes! 'I insisted.
They returned to do the little run to the sea, and again Kimanta slowed. Then one of the brothers hit a good push and threw him overboard.
Kimanta fell and the truth is that sank like a stone. But relatives dove, found him and took him up to the surface.
So they moved away from the island, holding among all the poor Kímanta, who was scared to death but did his best to cooperate, kicking and some sloppy strokes.
Every so often, he felt sorry for the efforts of his family and told them, full of goodwill:
-A See lárguenme. I think I learned.
But he sank again, and everyone is rushing to dive and get him up.
Kimanta he learned, at last, and ever swam better.
Suddenly, things that happened in those rare times ancestors were !, the body was transformed. The legs were stuck together and were. The feet are made in fins, like arms. They reached the head and his whole body was an ideal way to swim. That's how all dolphins became the first dolphin in the world, and never left the sea, where they live at home. But, as a souvenir of his first adventures in the water, diving in and out still breathing at the surface, as when they had to carry Kimanta. And always go together, like a good family, and help all the time.
