This myth is rooted in the country's history. Tradition has it that when the young married Felicitas Guerrero in 1862 with Martin de Alzaga, more and wealthy man, was one of the most beautiful women of the Buenos Aires society. The year after the wedding and after losing her only son, Felicitas was widowed with just 26 years. In beauty he added virtue of being one of the greatest fortunes of the City of Buenos Aires, which made the object of admiration and requirement of many suitors. Among them was jealous Enrique Ocampo, whom the widow unceremoniously rejected. As fate would have discovered the love that the cause of such rejection was Felicitas preference for the rancher Samuel Saenz Valiente. Sick with rage, he killed the girl Ocampo shot in the back and killed himself instantly. Guerrero sent the building, in honor of his daughter, a chapel located in the street Isabel La Catolica, between Brandsen and Pinzón. Locals say that every January 30, the date of death of Felicitas, his ghost appears with the bloody torso, wandering wandering through the night until dawn.
